Privacy Policy
What this site collects, what it never collects, and how to get your email out. Plain language, effective October 18, 2026.
The short version
This is an independent, free calculator site. Your calculations and history never leave your browser. The only personal information we ever receive is an email address you optionally give us for rate-change alerts — and one email removes it.
What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store your email address together with the page you signed up from, so alerts can be relevant. No profile, no tracking across other sites.
What we never collect
- Your calculations. Every number you type — prices, costs, category choices — and your calculation history are stored only in your own browser's localStorage. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party. Clearing your browser data erases them completely.
- Accounts and passwords. The site has no account system. There is nothing to log into and no password to leak.
- Payment information. The site is free and takes no payment.
- Your data is not sold. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with data brokers or advertisers, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and analytics choices
GA4 sets first-party cookies to distinguish visitors. Because the site offers no logins and no personalized content, these cookies serve measurement only. You can block or delete them in your browser at any time without affecting any feature — every calculator works fully with cookies disabled. Plausible runs without cookies and stores no personal data.
Your email, your call
To leave the rate-alert waitlist, send any email to contact@sellfeecalculator.com (or use the unsubscribe note in any alert) and your address is deleted from the list — that is the entire process, no forms, no retention period.
Third-party services
- Google Analytics. Operated by Google under its own Privacy Policy. We use it with IP anonymization on and no ads-personalization signals.
- Google AdSense. Not currently enabled on this site. If advertising is ever added, this policy will be updated before or at the time it goes live, with a notice here describing the cookies used.
- Affiliate links. Some outbound links may be affiliate links; if so they are labeled and marked in the page markup. Clicking one takes you to the merchant's site, whose privacy policy then applies. See the affiliate disclosure.
Children's privacy
This site is a business tool for marketplace sellers and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where state law so requires). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted an email address, contact us and it will be deleted promptly.
Where the law fits
Our practices are built to a simple standard — collect almost nothing, disclose what exists, delete on request — which is also how we approach U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and the access/deletion rights those laws grant are honored for everyone, not just residents of a particular state.
Changes to this policy
If the policy changes, the effective date at the top updates and material changes are noted on the changelog page.
